Howdy Partner.....my name is Gunner and I am a handsome, 2 yr old boy who was surrendered by my owner when they became very ill. I am very happy to report that I am heart-worm negative, healthy and in search of my forever home. I am deaf, but don't worry about that I am able to communicate with my eyes and I will watch you for direction. In addition, I am not a barker, chewer or digger, I am house trained and well behaved in my crate.
I do have a puppy like personality and I love to prance, dance, play and I will entertain you while you enjoy your morning coffee. I also double as a lap warmer, but I am content to curl up and take a nap if you are busy. Before I came to my foster home I was known to be a door darter and I would race out any open door in a flash, but my foster mom has worked very hard to teach me I must wait to go out the door. This is how easy it is....she simply holds her hand up as if to say stop and I intently watch her hand until she directs me to come. I understand now what is expected, but I would definitely need a new owner that would continue to work with me and keep me safe.
