Hello from down under....well, not really from down under, but I definitely came from way down south in Texas. My name is Bindi, I am 5 1/2 months old Boston Terrier Mix, currently being fostered in the Austin area.  I was dumped at the shelter by my owner when they no longer wanted me.  I was scooped up by ABTR and taken directly to the Vet where it was discovered that I had a mild case of Sarcoptic mange, but do not worry I have completed all my treatments and I am now ready to search for my forever home.
I am as smart as a tack and I already have learned to "sit" on command.  I am crate trained and enjoy spending some quiet time in there curled up on my cozy bed.  Since arriving at my foster home I have been working hard on my potty training and my foster mom has given me a gold star.  I did have a few accidents my first couple of days, so a home who is willing to put the finishing touches on my training is all I need.  I do live in a home with a BIG dog fur friend and I am known as his little shadow, but I have never met a cat so I'm not sure if I would like them or not.  I enjoy giving "hugs" and my foster mom says I am an expert snuggler too.  My favorite toy is my little stuffed Hedgehog, I love to throw it up in the air and I am often seen running up and down the hall chasing after it.  My second favorite thing is to decorate the hallway with the toilet paper from that dispenser in the bathroom, what a great toy that is!  Foster moms told me that it isn't a toy and I do try my best to leave it alone, but you can hardly blame a playful puppy.... can you?  I would love a home with a secure fenced yard and I sure would also ask for someone who wouldn't leave me outside in the backyard unattended, you see I am just small enough to be carried off by a hawk or owl. Because of my small size and my puppy activity level,  I would also be best suited for children over the age of 12 years.
Aren't you ready for a sweet, funny, little girl who is a joy to have around? I won't take up much room at all. Please don't delay fill out my application today.
